The move to BACK to Gonzales is almost completed. The house in Klotzville is selling for 2500 less than asking price. Not tooo bad. The step kids are happy to be only a mile from school. MeMe and PawPaw are happy to be 5 mins. away from LoLo. It is a much smaller house, and alot of junk must go. I will miss the country life. Oh well maybe again before I die.

Places Waymarked

Lately I have Waymarked More in Houma, Thibodaux, Patterson, Assumption Parish, Convent. Have been busy at work so it has been hard to juggle work and Waymarking. Grinding season ended around Jan. 1 this year.Spring has started in South Louisiana and there is life everywhere. We had a hard winter, got down to 23 deg. F. one morning, and 2 mornings afterward it was in the mid 20's. Am going to 2 Re-Enactments in Thibodaux and Springfield. Thanks.

WELCOME!

My first blog. Not sure what to write. My WAYMARKING additions have been being added in spurts, we or I have been very busy at work and I have 3 Technician "Trainees" I am helping to train. Sugar Cane harvest is in FULL swing here in Assumption Parish, Louisiana. Latest Waymarks posted are from 2 different trips, one to the Eunice/Opelousas area and the other to Baton Rouge to visit parents.
A little about me, I spent most of my childhood in Baton Rouge, LA. Moved to Gonzales, LA and then to Assumption Parish. The pic in my "about me" is of my house and "Peter The Great" my 25'6" in girth, 70' tall live oak tree in the front yard. Been listening to http://www.live365.com/stations/lamusicradio?tmx=1256351855340 and http://www.kbon.com alot lately. Have not practiced Accordion lately for about a week, arms been tired from work. Will add more later.
